I wonder about already available music - there's tons of it on jamendo and other sites. afaik it's cc-licensed, so anyone could use it for their non-commercial game. So how come nobody does that?

@ Q : I dunno what's wrong with my RSS (I don't use RSS anyway D: omg, what a sin), maybe due to the fact that I don't post that often, it behaves... weird :P

@ Tranberry : Thanks for mentioning me 8)

Hey thanks, and thanks for your blog too. Did not knew this would be read before I even proof-read it.

For the NC part in Timongs soundtrack, I can only say that at first my reaction was the same or similar to yours, But reading his thoughts about it I can say I understand it.

Thanks for a positive review.

The news about Pal Zoltan Illes are really interesting. The nc clause and ransom models are not exactly me favourite ideas, but ransoming the nc clause does have it's potential. That way normal users and authors of derivative works are not encumbered unless those derivatives turn profitable and then there is a clearly established way to resolve this problem. Certainly something worth adding to my list of things to ponder about.
